- Collector is outfitted with single ribbon fuse capable of clearing worst-case fault
- Current will be shunted around a contact shoe pivots with adequately sized cabling.
- Fuse is sized for nominal current and is equipped with a magnetic arc extinguisher
- Performs at speeds up to 100 mph (161 kph) when mounted to under primary suspensions
